The school’s news page of 31 August 2026 reports that it entered eight teams in the ADECORE school chess championship of 10 to 15 August 2026 and won gold, silver and bronze medals. The school’s coach says most of the selected pupils have trained with the team for two to three years, and that internal competitions and friendly matches are held at the school.
