Newest sign of chess

A press note of the La Molina district council dated 15 September 2025 says that a seven-year-old pupil of its chess workshop won gold in rapid chess and bronze in standard chess at the Pan American school championship in Brazil, and describes the workshop as part of its sports schools for children and young people aged 5 to 15, with instructors affiliated to the Peruvian chess federation. The note gives no timetable, price or place, and no later council note on the workshop was found.
